Should around 3800-4000 rpm engagement, is there some sort of problem?

Is this a twin or a triple?

with the stock blue spring and stock 10-60 weights, my 99 XC engaged at ~3500. An EPI black spring bumped this up to ~39-4000.

They made a 98 xcr700 non-ves (basically an ultra spx ??) and a 99 xcr700 with ves.
