I'm looking to up grade to a double A arm coil over shock on my kids 2000 Z 120. It has the fiberglass leaf on it right now. Just curious if anyone has done this upgrade as well. Would i be better off selling this, and just buying a newer ZR or F 120 for the amount i would have to invest. I've got two more kids coming up into this machine and big brother is ready to graduate to the next level. Thanks for the help. Ron

I have done it on a friends machine, it is a little time consuming but works out OK. It's a toss up really.

I know this is an old post but I have a buddy with a 1999 Z120 and just ordered the 6.5HP etc, and Scott(rec motors) told him to get the "upgrade kit" from a cat dealer, but our local dealer can't find any type of upgrade kit to get rid of the leafs and go to an a-arm/shock system like the newer ones.

Any insight as to what is required to do the upgrade? Maybe some pics?

Thanks
Stoeckly
