this weekend i took my new toy out for the first time and i noticed when i had 250 miles on it when it went over 6000 rpm the odometir would switch from saying how many miles i had on it to this -0057- it seemed to be counting down the loe longer i kept it at high rpms....the sled was running great and everything seemed the norm, i was wondering if this was telling me the chip was going to burn off soon?????? im gonna call my dealer in the am to make sure its ok but i was wondering if it has happend to anyone else.... but i have to say this is one kick ass sled!!!! my first ski-doo and now i will NEEEEVER buy anything else!

After a certain mph, I think it's 50 or 55, the odometer automatically changes to a digital speedo. The numbers you are seeing is your speed.

did you get the answer from the dealer?

Did your dealer tell you what it could be? My dad has an 07 mach z renegade with 500 miles on it and he didn't experience that. Its a great sled though. buttrock.gif

i talked to one of the techs at the dealership and he said he thinks it is the mph, he didnt have an answer as to why it only showed up sometimes but said that he saw it hapen when he had a sled on a jackstand but he has only seen it once. He told me he hasnt heard of it hapening to anyone else but thought that doo was coming out with a digital speedo for 08 and they wanted to try it in the 07's to see how it worked.. this seemed a little wierd but he said i have nothing to worry about
