well I tipped my indy 440 fan on it's side to change carbides- because it was my only choice. Anyways I started it- ran fine- I take it out and hit the throttle and it has very little power. Starts great, runs great up to 1/3 throttle, anything beyond that is sh*t. It sounds to me like one cylinder is doing all the work and the other is running at far less RPM's. If I hold the throttle at 1/3 I can slowly gain speed, but if I give it any more it starts bogging and losing power unless I let off.
I changed spark plugs and the existing ones seemed identical, so they seem to be burning fine.

any ideas?

thanks!

I'd be looking at the carbs. Possibly the float in one is stuck from having the sled on it's side and either not filling, or overfilling cuasing a cyliner to run bad. Tipping a sled up *should* be fine, but...

hmmm sounds to me like the jet or a the float in the carb is rong or stuck open

well I guess I will pull the carbs then! yay can't wait... **rolls eyes

Wrenching on ones sled is good for the soul.

Most likely true... however when we just got the first good snow of the year- i'd rather just be riding!

alright--- thanks alot for the help guys! sled is running great.
Main jet had fallen out and was just flopping around in the bowl! I have no idea how that would happen but it did.... really weird

thanks again!
