Hey guys went to make the trip from fort kent to allygash last weekend and the trails where horrible the groomer hadn't been out yet. They where extremely bumpy. I thought i heard that their groomer had broken down. Any word if there grooming again or if the trails have been groomed?

Did the loop out of Eagle lake yesterday and it hadn't been groomed from where it diverts off 85 south. 92 (railroad bed) was horrible but looked like it had been groomed at one point.
Not sure what happened on 85 south out of Eagle lake to Portage. Only groomed in one direction and the worse grooming job I've ever seen. Groomer must have been broke. It was great once we got to where Portage picked up.
All in all trails where pretty good. logged 1300 miles in 9 days and probably only 100 to 150 where real bad.

Just got back from 9 days in Ft Kent. Did 85D on Tues from Alagash down. The top part (Alagash trails) were fabulous. Eagle Lake hadn't even been out with a groomer yet but we finished the route anyway. Went out this morning and did it from Eagle Lake up. They had sent a groomer up from the lake at some point but it wasn't good. The bright spot of the day was running into the Alagash groomer just before thier turn around. 20 miles of undisturbed PERFECT trails all to ourselves. If you've ever ridden the Deboullie trail just imagine wide open throttle for 20 miles on carpet and not a sole coming the other way. There is a God!!!
