Can Anybody give me a snow report for central / western U.P. Champion, republic to Baraga thanks

Came back from the area on Thursday and many of the trails in that area were mud and frozen dirt. Rode through 25 miles of mud and dirt between Twin Lakes and Ishpeming trying to get to our hotel. Baraga and L'anse had no snow and getting into town was impossible unless you wanted to ride through 2 inches of mud and water. The weather turned colder on Thursday night and they were starting to get snow. IMHO they were going to need a lot of snow to get the trail base back. Ishpeming was calling for a lake effect storm to dump as much as a foot beginning Sunday.

We started our trip in Hurley WI......no snow so we trailered up to Watersmeet on Tuesday. Very little snow, mostly snirt between Watersmeet and Mass City and this was before two days of temps in the mid to upper 40's. Better conditions from Mass City North to the Keewenaw.

I would ride the Keewenaw area and or Big Bay to Munising or Eastern U.P. I'd stay away from the south to central U.P. Good Luck!
