This is what it says on KSTP's site
Drier air from Wisconsin continues to be drawn into Minnesota on the strong easterly winds. This dry air continues to eat away at the snowfall as it moves north from Iowa. Late this evening through the overnight will be our last chance to pick up on significant snowfall, before were just left with snow showers on Sunday afternoon and night. If the storm now in eastern Kansas can move just a touch north of its track I feel we have a decent chance of the snow piling up tonight. Otherwise, if it continues to track just straight east we might end up with only a few more inches out it. At this point were reducing the snow forecast to 2 to 4 inches of snow overnight and then another 1 to maybe 2 Sunday. This would give us a grand total of 4 to 8 inches of snow by the time its said and done. Isolated areas in southwest and southeast Minnesota could end up with over 18 inches. Stay tuned for updates at 5 pm.
