Hi there,

I was thinking about riding out of Shelburne tomorrow. Anyone have an idea what the trail conditions are like? Can any recommend a five-hour loop?

Thanks and happy sledding!
Evil ZR
what time you thinking of heading out?

Evil ZR: I was thinking about being at the Superburger b/w 9:30 and 10:00 AM as I was planning on meeting a few people there around then. Probably ride until about 3ish, then head back home.

you meeting your normal riding group or just straglers (like me)....lol

A combination of both... three sledders for sure and a few "maybes" and "ya, i'll be there" types! LOL I just want to ride! Actually, i've never ridden with the three sledders, but I work with one of them, so i'm sure it will be cool. I'm just waiting to hear back from few from the group I normally ride with.

Trails are pretty rough, supposedly both groomers are down. But there is lots of snow except on some roads.

groomer was out friday night between shelburne and dundalk. Six of us had to pull off trail to let it by, then had to dig sleds out of chest deep snow.

EVil ZR: Sorry you couldn't make it, the riding turned out be awesome!

Impaired: I would love to rip up to Owen Sound as my buddy is racing there this weekend. I have my daughter with me this week, so the most I could do is a quick day trip.

The ride was awesome. We staged at Superburger in Primrose and rode out from there. We rode to to Feversham, then off to Markdale, then back through Dundalk and back to Shelburne. I would say the trails were an 8/10 overall. We encountered the groomer along the way and the rest is history! The only rough spot was on the railbed heading through Dundalk.

Can't wait to head out again.

Maybe the canals then off to Cook's Bay next Saturday. Anyone game?
