Conditions have been very good, although the snow is still very meally so once its groomed its not holding up to long on high traffic areas. I would head south out of town and take the long pond loop over to Rte 66. From there you can go to Pittston Farm or Rockwood and beyond. Heading to rockwood on rte 66 and back up 88 was very nice. The border riders club trail accross big wood and up to the border is also a nice easy loop. The roads up around bald mtn have been blown off and it always seems to be rough coming back that way through the airport at the end of the day as well. They have been grooming frequently so you should have some nice riding if you get out early and it stays cold.

probably a mobscene like it usually is. follow jackmanriders advice and get out of dodge in the morning. the northeast carry always seems to be nice, especally for a familly ride.

Rode south of Jackman all week, did the forks/rangley/moosehead and coburn mtn runs. Trails were excellant all around. I will be back up there on Sunday for the next 2 weeks.
Enjoy the trails, they have plenty of snow

Left there this morning. Rode Wed- Sat AM. Countless trailers heading north on 201 today. Hundreds of sleds at the pumps from Jacktown to Skowtown. Mobscene comes to mind. The groomer was broken for a day or two so the trail north of town toward Bald was bad all the way to PF, but they fixed it cause things looked awesome this morning when we did our loop. Saw the usual boneheads, parking 5 sleds on a blind corner in the firs, stopped in the middle of Rt 66 on a WOT stretch just shooting the breeze, blown corners. Watch out for moose, came too close too one just outside PF in the woods. But I do have to say the family groups were great to share the trails with. Had a great time and the clubs do an excellent job up there.

One word of advice, STAY AWAY FROM GREENVILLE!!! While the burgers at The Black Frog are excellent, the ride on the Greenville trails just isn't worth it.

Is that really good news after the start of this winter and last winter you would want your trails good for vacatoin week.I was up to Jackman from thursday to sunday and was very pleased to see groomed trails every morning.Thats the way to keep people coming back!

I had the chicken that didnt make it across the road ahah. Good place to eat. But the trails were real bumpy last week, you have to get out early in the morning, but coming back sucked
