Well, just got back to Two Harbors. We put in about 40 miles up highway 2 (Superior National Forest) out of Two Harbors this afternoon. Condtions in the area were good considering the winter and we put on 100 miles this afternoon. Must have gotten 1-2" over the past few days. Most trails were good and we only rode 1 or 2 trails that were fairly bumpy. Forest rodes were the best and we stayed to them most of the time. Came up on a groomer somewhere around the Tomahawk trail (not exactly sure where we were at the time.
Came across 3-4 corners that had a little dirt, and not many that were icy. A few rock here and there....but nothing to even think about.
Heading out again in the morning. Felt good to finally put on some miles. Defenitely worth getting out!
