Todays Graphic is out!!!! Thaw line moved down to IA and it looks like SE MN is going to go from getting a flake or two to a FOOT or more....... Keep dancin' nudie.gif Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!
Duckhunter
From the text....

southern ½ of MN, most of the southern ½ of WI and central lower MI will see the heaviest totals occur. Amounts look to be in the 8-12" range in these areas and I will certainly not rule out the chance for some locales to see more than 12" fall.

Anything will be great ......not to mention getting some more on thursday of next week......

The entire state is going to get snow from this system....read the text and you'll see that your area will get snow, prolly 4-8"! Hardly a swing and a miss for the way this winter has been!

AGAIN as I said before......I'll believe it when it's on the ground. Don't get me wrong I'm optimistic as all get out, but the way things have gone this year it's been one swing and miss after another.

I use him constantly for his snowfall forecast...you need to read the text with his graphics. Nope he's not 100% on the money, but he's waaaaaaaaaaay better than any meteoroloqueer in MN and that's for shizzle! He depicts models just like the NWS, but is willing to go a little further out on a limb than them because he is independant. Watch the number 4, 5 ,9 and 11 tonight and I guarentee that they all have different forecasts.......who's right? "F" I don't know, but I'd put my money on John Dee over any one of them! m2c.gif

Bring on the SNOW!!!!!! summer_sucks.gif

I do read his text. Still off. NONE of them know what their talking about. People would'nt get upset and make plan's if they would'nt blow it out of poportion. They say a foot, I say an inch. This is the first time this year that I've bitched about this, I've been patient, but now I've had it. I'll make my plan's after I look outside.
GoTTa B MoDDeD
my plans were already made this is a super bonus...they have been talking about it for over a week and it is still following the pattern that was predicted then. Anything is a bonus at this point for me...

I agree they have jacked a lot of forecasts, but I'd put money on this one! Making plans has been tough for a few years and I can see where the frustration comes from!

We all hope your right. I really should'nt complain I have 1100 mile's on so far but it's all in the U.P. and that get's to be alot of screwing around and alot of work coming and going. It would be nice to ride out of the garage some this year.

I see your fav place is LG in the UP. The only serious riding I've done in 2 years has been up there! I've only been up twice this year, but plan to 2 or 3 more times when they get some good snow! I wait until I know they have snow though and I don't go there to trail ride any more at all.....just boondockin' up there for me! It's 10 times the fun!
MX86
my hats off to john dee.. he was the only place i knew that would even attempt to take a stab at it until yesterday.. yeah he was off a little on his snow predictions, but a 2 degree change in the jet stream will throw things off 260 miles or more... if we get snow i will be happy.. the more the better. if ya need me i'll be on swan lake breaking my new rebuild in haha... anyone wants to join me i'll be happy to set up a few drags on the strip there grin.png

Man, I hope northern Minnesota gets some decent snow with this storm. I'm sure the businesses are hurting. Keep our fingers x.

The good news is that I might not have to travel so far to find good snow.

They are. It's terrible. As many have said, I'll believe snow, when it's on the ground, and it's not 50 degree's to melt it in a day

No thunder here, but it is windy and snowing out, all the snirt is now covered, we have about 2 inches so far on the ground so at least everything is all white again and not brown. Not enough to have to plow anyway Yet... I hope more falls cuz the businesses up here are all hurting badly this year. I do have over 1200 miles on already tho.. Thank God for the River riding
