I would check on a rebuilt crank. I just got one from the crank shop that they said was rebuilt by skidoo for $400. Hopefully they'll take yours as a core. Good luck!

I have a complete 1000 SDI motor with 900 miles. I'll sell it complete with electronics and fuel system for $3000. US. Save you some $$ and you'll have a pile of spare parts.
mach???
On my mach the connecting rod bearing went for a shit. Remanufactured crank is 739.49 A new crank is 2013.97 thats what the quote says form adien bernard . It's 1041.97 for new cylinders and 559.90 to have them replated!!
mach???
here's the proof

Wow, looks like a real meltdown. Have you found out if you can send it in for the core charge on a rebuilt? I think US Chrome will bore and replate your cylinders back to original specs if they're not too bad. Are the cases salvageable? You will need to rebuild the water pump too. Not a cheap fix to say the least.

Wow thats a real bummer that had to happen which oil were you using?

Mine went down at approx. 4300 miles.

Mine was compliments of BRP.

My mechanic says they have had a few go down in this milage range.

Cheers!
