Hey guys,

Been reading through the various threads and checking out the related grooming pics.. lovin them!

Figured i'd start a general thread for anyone to post groomin pics in.. their favourite pics... recent/old/classic/whatever!

Unfortunately I'm not a groomer so I don't have any to start things off..

Cheers!

Hey! thanks for startin it off grinning-smiley-023.gif wow! never seen one like that.. great for the small forest trails.. i often wonder how a groomer gets through some of the winding not-so-wide trails..

Here is one of the Blazers our club uses.
The Kubota is a cool one from another club here in Maine. Check out www.mesnow.com and link to some of the clubs. You can find lots of different types ranging from sleds upto the big ones.

Can-amsledder---Where's that groomer located? I couldn't make out the series of NH tractor that was. Not familiar with that manufacturer of tracks and drag. Who is it? We gotta couple of sure tracs, but they're definatly not anything like that.

Here you guys go, this is some Cherry Creek Sno Goers Tucker Power.

I passed that grommer near Mount Forest Ontario. It had the widest drag I’d ever seen around here.

No doubt, it looked huge in the pic. The drag had a really funky setup on the hydralics. Looked like it had cylinders going down each side every few feet. Quite a maze of stuff.

Well, that decision is up to the trails coordinator. We try to strategically place the groomers so that all areas are equally covered, that way if there is a break down the other groomers can fill until it's fixed. Logically, where there is the most roadside running would make sense. That was our new addition this year.

Here are some pics of me grooming during March Break, last time groomed to the Salmon River Area. Also some pics of a moose on the trail.

myz--Good pics. Great job grooming. The drag seems to stay up on top of the snow. Trails not deep into the base. wet heavy snow? or just a good job, with the right set up?

There are 4 wheel track systems available for tractors. Some clubs have them but not everyone is happy with them. The price is about $50000 a set, not cheap.
Thanks,
