My Friend put a new throttle cable on his 80 liquifire .now it well not move. it start up find but when he hits the throttle it just don`t move . it was ok before he change it. anybody know what he did wrong and how to fix it.......

Check to make sure it's the right length then make certain it is in the recessed hole for the slide. It will still need to be adjusted from the top of the carb until when you crack the throttle the slide moves up.

So it is the top of the carbs. that need to be adjust and not the cable that goes to the oil.

is it the throttle cables fault or is there somthing else wrong, does it just do nothing or does it bag out real bad.

did you make sure to set the cables right and sync them real good and make sure they were getting 100% wide open.

or did the cable just fall out of the slide because you forgot to put the plate back in that holds it in.
