i was ridding yesterday and hit some rough trails the sled immediately died i finnaly got it started after 15min of pulling TO HAVE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. my buddies said that they think it has something to do w/the magnets in the carbs that ac put in as a saftey thing im not sure but i would like to disconnect the how do i do it do i just cut the wires and tie them together? any other ideas on why it died would be helpful also thanx will

might be that. in the tool kit is a jumper that is inserted at the steering post area under cover. by inserting it may bypass the kill and carb switches. i had similar problem. i added 3 jumpers(dario shack) one at each carb at the carb wire harness to carb to complete circuit. this allowed use of kill. that issue is due to improperly adjusted switches or switches that are easily going out of adjust(mine).

the magnets are permanently attached to carb slides.

On my 00 zrt the switches didn't work right from factory. I just unpluged them at the carbs. No bypass needed. In fact I tried to bypass the sled ran terrible. Left it open, worked perfect.
