Can someone reccommend any nice loops out of Fabyans?

Thanks

With all the fresh snow the railbed thru Lancaster should be ok,maybe go over Cherry mt.take pipeline/5 thru Jefferson/Lancaster to Groveton,up and down Nash stream, over to Milan, the Milan Luncheonet makes a good steak and cheese btw, take 11 or 15 back to Jefferson notch rd,over to Twin again.

With a side trip to the Berlin overlook and some other local loops you could get a good day in.

Nice loop sure ....
Go out Jefferson notch rd. to the R/R bed Corr.12 take a right to Gorham.
Go to Corr.19N to Milan (get gas there if ya need to) then head North to Errol.
There are a few different ways from Milan to Errol. The store in Milan usually has
the one for that area and I recommend it greatly. Where you are new to that area
just stay on Corr.19N. Gas & eat in Errol. Leave Errol on Charlie's Trail. Look for
Dixville Peak and go up it. Go down and look for the trail to Nash Stream.
Many different ways back to the bottom of Nash. At the bottom of Nash look
for trail 117. Take that towards Milan. On that trail look for trail 109S back
towards Twin. Go to the NHSA site and visit all the club sites (expecially Groveton's)
and take a look at their maps to familarize your self. When up there stop at some
of the gas stops and pick up the local maps.

Had a chance to look at one of my maps I keep here at work.
The trail to look for once you come back down Dixville Peak
(a must trip if your in THAT area - the Peak that is) is the Kelsey
Notch Trail. From there you can get to the Nash Stream trails.
Corr.5 is OK but I prefer one of the others that parrellel
Corr.5 (Check the Groveton site map). At the Southern end
of Nash you could take Trail 117 to Milan and go back to Twin
the way you got there earlier. But I prefer a different way up
and back. Trail 109 to Corr.11 is a nice way back to Twin.
Have fun and wish I could join ya !
There is a GREAT view over looking the Balsam's up there
I saw posted here a few years ago BUT I am not sure if it
is a legal trail. Maybe someone fimilar with it can chime in.

Thank you Skully. This is great info... Do you know approx how many miles that would be? Maybe 150?

Really appreciate the help... looking forward to another mid week ride!!

It could be THAT easily ! Depends on the route you take.
What time you plan on leaving Twin ?
If you looking for a GREAT ride do as I said going out to Milan.
Watch for F&G on the R/R bed (Corr.12) they like to hangout
then for obvious reasons. When you get to Milan and get their
map & gas. Instead of going back to Corr.19 go across the street
across the bridge to the trail on the left after crossing bridge.
I don't have my Milan map here at work so you got to bear with me.
On their map there are trails that go up to Errol that way. Real NICE
one too. I think better than Corr.19. Like I said eat & gas up in Errol.
Do the Peak ! Then if your still looking for the LONG WAY back go to
the Groveton site and look at their map. Instead of heading to Corr.5
back to Nash take Corr.7 and/or Corr.3 back to Nash at Trail 117.
You may or may not need gas again. It is not far from their club house.
From there do Trail 117 to Trail 109 back to Corr.11 which will bring you
back to the Twin area. Again GET MAPS cus there are MANY loops you
could get LOST on and possibly run out of gas. Ask me how I know ;-)
