need some ideas on how to raise the handle bars on a z120, any suggestions?

Cat makes a handlebar riser kit w/new bars, grips, and riser block. It costs around $100 and is in the accesory catolog. I put a kit together for buddy using a set of sno cross bars off a 95 zr, 2" riser block I had laying around and some old grips also. Let me know if you have any questions I'll try to help.

How does this kit install? Do you cut the stock bars short and then use the riser and new bars?
