I recently bought a 2001 XCF 440 for the lady. It has a very bad bog in the midrange i have read about rejetting on this forum. Has anyone out there dropped the needle jet from Q-2 to a Q-0 and mains to 310-320? Just looking for some feedback before i take on this adventure.
Thanks, Tim

You could try 320/310, but until you get a handle on wash and plugs I would be carefull riding in temps lower than 10* Needle, I would start at 2 1/2. This machine will be finicky about jetting and temp. Not as bad as the next 2 years though...

edit: are you sure that your clutching is sound?

Thanks
