Last I new you could park up by the recycling center. If you get off of exit 21 of I87 north and turn left pull into the Mobile station and ask them. You might want to run a search for the Lake George Winter Carnival, or the South Warren County Groomers. One of them sights might have info on this.
Good Luck!

At 5 o'clock my friend said they had recieved 30 inches with 10 more forecasted...I think that might be a little high, but still...they got tons of snow, so the riding should be good.
For parking, I would suggest parking down at the lake. This weekend is snowmobile oval racing. You can hit the trails up from there as well.
Or, like yamaha98sx700 said, you can park at the transfer station. Go past the Mobil and look for the signs for Lake George transfer station on your right.

There is a place to park your truck and trailer off of West Mountain Rd. off of exit 18. You can jump on the trail system there and head up to LG or Lazurn Old Fordge etc....

I don't think much grooming will be going on this weekend. Everyting has to settle a lot. But if you guys need something to do, I need some help shoveling out in Thurman. LOL

As of 6pm, the groomer was leaving the transfer station and going towards Lk Luzerne. Also, at that time, Prospect was not groomed (yet), but we broke trail. Atleast 3+ feet on top of the mountain.
As PeteKing said, you can park at the lake in Million Dollar Beach parking lot, but with the races this weekend, it may be full early. I would park at the transfer station. I87, exit 21 . Turn left (if driving north), taking 9n-south, the sign for the transfer station is brown and on the right hand side of the road. I would guess about 1-1.5 miles up the road.

You should be fine at 8 am. Late morning is when people start to unload usually. This past Sunday the main entrance to Prospect Mtn. was closed off. If they open it up, there will be room for at least 50 more trailers.
