02/14/07: Rode Wisconsin today trail 2 in Ironwood was very good trail 2/77 in Wisconsin was not good lots of bumps thin on snow and icy. Not much the groomers can do till we get more snow, trail 15 was bumpy for the first 5 miles than was very good. Then took 13 which was very good but thin on snow the farther south you went with icy corners and rocks showing, we rode to Island Lake and had lunch then headed for Pine Lake, trail was good but thin on snow. From Pine Lake took 8 back to 17 8 was very good thin on snow and rocks for the first 4 to 5 miles then not bad but icy corners. Trail 17 was very good but again thin on snow we do need more snow but for what we have trails are good to very good at this time. Forecast is calling for temps in the 30's next week, if the sun is out with the warm temps it may take its toll on the trails but will have to wait and see what happens. Sam
