Looks like I will be staying at the Town and Country in Gorham this weekend. Can anyone tell me if you can access the trails right from the motel? Also, from that location can I get a good day of sledding (100 or so Miles). Thank you!

Yes. Right behind the T&C is a gas line. From there you can go north east into Berlin (in gorham go east on the RR Bed), going up through Success to all points north, or North through Berlin up by Mount Forrest and into Milan and points north (Trail 19 I think), or in Gorham when you hit the RR Bed you can head west towards Littleton.

Hey don't forget the Poker run, out of Gorham this Sat,you won't be disapointed. A whole lot of prizes, and for a good cause, the Androscoggin Valley Cancer Fund, and the Presidential Range Riders. Look for a poster at the T&C,or ask Scott Labnon for details.
Oh,and the groomers are out as we speak, so our trails will be A1 condition. Thanks Ray

A ride south from there on 19 into Evans Notch is also an option.

great spot to start from and the buffet is good. Sucess up to Errol and over to Nash Stream would be a good ride. Millsfield loop was awesome last week.

Pray that the groomers in Milan and Berlin will be out (sometimes they tend to drag their feet after storms).

im not sure how the snow was at home, but here by the seacoast it is powdery for the most part...a lot of times they will wait for machines to pack it and give it some body before dragging it.

Just got off the cell phone with one of our groomers they have been packing without the drags, thats how much snow we have. Brian said last nite while packing he was amazed to see the snow, just about avalance down some of the side hills. Grooming with the drags will start tomorow, When I last talked to them, they were breaking the trail behind Lowe's Gas station (ledge hill) hopeing they could climb.
