I have come across a 372 cc hirth I have heard rumors that this was a hell of a one thumper in its time. any opinions. Type 200 R4E... 372 cc It looks in good shape maby worth rebuilding????

They were supposed to be really fast, even heard people saying they beat up 440's with them.

thats what I heard too. been raining cats in my neck of the woods, 5 panthers came my way with real nice tunnels and hoods the thing is they were taken apart, stored inside though with a wide variety of engines 292 kawi 303sach 3something JLO 340 Hirth and a 399 kawi so I am just lookin for a place to start the 292 kawi and the hirth look to have the fewest miles on them, thanks for your imput I am sold on the hirth
