Could one of you Price country guys give me an accurate update on the trail condittions up there. Especially in the Phillips area. The price county website says good to far, but thats almost hard to believe.
Thanks

I was riding east of Phillips last weekend and in my opinion it is more like fair to poor. Mainly snirt and rocks.

Live in the area, the trails are thin on snow bare in spots but fairly flat for, been cold last couple of week keeping the base solid, I think the are a little above fair for a week day rider, but I would down grade them for the weekend with the higher volume of sleds.

travisd, I see you're new here. I live in Phillips and the trails are really thin around town especially, i just put on 50 miles and the trails weren't half bad, went out pass lugerville and back. I would stay away if you had to trailer any distance though, unless you want to lake race

If you do go to phillips, and want trails no one goes on. Head out to Solberg Lake, and head north into the National Forest. A lot of trails you can find up in that area that no one will go on. THe trail from phillips to the lake might be thin though. I live, or used to, on solberg and im not sure if my dad has ridden much this year. But, we use to just go on small 25 mile night rides up in the area up there and we would find trails that only a sled or two have passed on when others are beat to hell.
But, I havnt been home since december, im in michigan now, so I have no clue on conditions. But if FLY_HIGH says the trails are crap, there crap. If he says there good, there poor, if he says there awesome well then they ussually are lol. But now that he has that nice shiny new kitty, he might actually care to be riding on snow iwth it instead of dirt. Just kidding dude
