I have a 1992 Venture GT. The steering is very very tight. Does anyone know what i can do to free the steering up.

Is it tight when you are moving? or just sitting still? if it free's up when in motion, that's the way it is supposed to be, but if it's still tight when you're moving, look at the steering linkage and joints for binding. Also look for lubrication points (grease zerks) that may be dry.

I have the same prob on a '93 that I just picked up (hard to turn when riding slow)...thanks!
Do most sleds have zerks on the steering column?
