I was just wondering how many of you are going up to the Black Hills for President's Day Weekend?? I will be unloading at Trailshead on Saturday and Sunday. I will have my 01 ZR800 big bore and my dad will be riding his 99 Polaris SKS 700. We should meet up at Trailshead at a certain time or something to chat.

Should be a good time but busier than normal with the Governor's Ride being the same weekend. I'm looking forward to see how my sled will run now that I have made some changes to my clutching.

We have a group of about 12-15 coming out on Friday to ride Sat-Sun-Mon-staying at Deadwood Super 8-HOPEFULLY riding from there-otherwise we'll unload at Spearfish Canyon. We'll have one 2005 800 mod Sno Pro(green), one 2005 440 Sno Pro(Black), 3 or 4 Polaris XLT, 2-200 Yamaha SRX, one gray Fighter pilot F-7,one 03 Race Team Green F-7, an 02 800 ZR and one Ski Doo Renegade. And maybe a couple of other odd balls-who knows

Damn, that is a big group!! I hope we run into you guys somewhere. We should figure out a way to meet or something.

What will you be driving?

Just got back from there. If they didn't get any snow out there this weekend I would start at Trailshead. We stayed in a cabin about a half mile east of Rec Springs and the trails around there were gravel or rough as hell. Best snow was central and south central. Guessing around 2-3 ft, jumped off my sled a couple times and it was about waist deep little less.

I will keep an eye out for you. The one on the left should be fairly easy to spot with the yellow highlights. I don't have any pictures of mine but it is a green 01 ZR800 (stickers say 600) with the black belly pan and has white checkers on the windshield. I will be riding with a 1999 SKS. Blue and looks like most RMKs in those years. On Sunday we will have a couple more people with us. One will be a blue Apex and the other one is a 600 Yamaha (not sure what year or color). I haven't seen it yet.
