Sled has 2 1/4 paddle track. Has anyone had trouble with paddles bending or curling over from running on to much hard packed groomed trails?
HYFLYR
They bend a little but nothing to be worried or concerned about. I would put some ice scratchers on to help lube the hyfax and keep them from melting.

Thanks for the info. THIS APEX 162 DOES VERY WELL. Nice sled.

I have a 2" track on my sled and the track is less than 1 year old and the paddles are already starting to bend quit a bit, and i lift it up when ever its sitiing in the garage, I try the most as possible to stay off all trails...

During the off season I put mine up in the air and during the riding season they are always on a trailer. Both 2.25" tracks still look just fine. Not a problem here. I would think if they sat for long periods of time it would curl. Just don't let it sit!!!! Ride the thing.

I agree with what the others have said when your not riding it get the track off the ground. Plus look at it this way if the paddles didn't bend and give like that they would be more likely to get ripped off. So don't worry too much about them flexing.

Seems to depend on the type of track to. My A20 was really bent over in no time. The new maverick the cone parts and stiffer paddles are still straight the softer ones are curving some. I do the same thing though try and keep the track off the ground as much as possible.

I used to turn my track around twice in a season to get it to hook up. It works real good for a few rides and then starts bending backwards again, but look on the bright side, you do have better braking when it's bent back, Ken.
