sorry to steal your thread but i got the same problem. i bought a canon DC 210 and i recorded videos and the disk is full. I went to put them on the computer and it said "insert disk". It said the disk was empty. The same with the dvd player. What should i do??

Did you guys finalize the disc? This is a common problem with the mini dvd if it was not explained. You must finalize the disc before your computer or a dvd player will recognize it, this should be one of the first options in the menu.
