Whats the top speed on these?
Duality
Mountain sleds are geared down-you'll not likely ever see 100 mph max on perfect conditions going downhill with 30mph tailwind-My M8 will run up to 80 in a hurry but then after that you run the SERIOUS risk of damage-running the 3.0 pitch track with extros and 2.5 of sag you can actually create a wave in the track and the extros can throw it into the rails on a highspeed run-

track speed is the key for mountain sleds-not top speed

Winter Freak.......I got your PM but unable to answer a PM so I will give you info here........

The best run I have had with my XF8sp was on Lake Gogebic. I saw 106. Conditions were pretty good but not ideal. Only a couple inches of snow with some bare ice mixed in. I do not run studs. In the mountains the sled does pretty good with the 1.5 Intense track.
