Headed to White Pines ( Porcupine mountain area) this wednesday. We'll be riding till fri. night , headed home Sat. morning. I have a HPS can on my 04 MXZX 800 HO. stock pipe. Is this too loud to pass the DNR decible test? I should probably just put the stock can on,,,but I'd rather not. What are my chances...I ride with respect for landowners..

Not to be a prick but if you have to ask then it is too loud. Anyway put the stocker on and enjoy the added horsepower. Have fun...B

if you're not being a douche in people's backyards or in towns, you shouldn't have any problem (and from your post it sounds like you'll be fine)

I talked to a buddy last night, and he made a good point,,, you get a ticket, and you'll be pissed the whole trip... So I put the stock can on for now... Thanks for the response everyone..

I have an MBRP, thought it was cool 7 years ago and it was, now it's annoying. Getting old I guess.

as said above, you shold be fine as long as you show some courtesy, i have a can on mine, and you know how much throttle before it starts to get loud, and seeing that your running a 600 as well, you should be okay, because my sled isnt near as loud as my buddies 7's and 8's that are canned.
