might better throw your money in the fire as to waste it if you plan on riding up there.

sure snow is limited, but 1/2way down a trail to find out that the gate are not open really sucks. Then to top it off have to ditchbang down the side of 41 Hwy and end up getting a ticket is enough to make anyone blow their lid mad.gif I know there is not enough snow to groom which is understandable, but we pay good money to ride the trails. We should be able to use them when there is snow on the ground even if they are not groomed at our own risk if we choose. The way this winter has been this might be the only snow we get.Who knows? I know there was lots of tracks up to that same point before we got there, and probably run into the same problem. Anyone know if is worth taking a trip towards Orillia.

Frustrating - absolutely
Trespassing on closed trails - maybe

Don't get me wrong I feel your pain, especially on the ticket deal, but when you take a chance on closed conditions sometimes you get bit in the ass. My cottage is in the MP area and anything in the cover of trees is knackered due to the rocky terrain. There's has been no compaction or any conditions to form a base, you are down to the dirt, leaves and rocks instantly.
Hard to believe it's still time to chase lake effect snow patterns.

I'm on 41 up near hwy 28. We had a good 10-12" of untouched powder on all the trails in our area. The wife and I put on 200km last weekend, no rocks and just a little water. Nice thing was no ATV tracks anywhere!!! Nothing like fresh trail.

P.S. Was told they were to start grooming on Monday (Yesterday)
