I have 01 xc500 and i have a coolant leak (big puddle under the engine)but i can't figure out where it could be,Cheaked the front heat exchanger it's ok and all the hoses are dry.The only place i can figure it's coming from is the overflow bottle.I tried running it on a stand but can't find it.Any advice

I had the same problem last year. I thought it was getting hot and blowing out the overflow on the bottle. Just by chance, I happened to squeeze the hose running from the "T" at the bottom of the bottle around the front of the engine, and a little piss stream came out. The hose had rubbed against the engine, and created a small pinhole. Replaced the hose, and problem solved. Hope this helps.
