We plan on heading up Saturday - Tuesday, who would guess the third year in a row iffy conditions the first weekend in Feb. Is it/was it ridable this past weekend?
JEFFH
Just got back from Newberry and the trails in that area were in great shape, a little dirty/icy in spots but great over all. trail #45 was excelent at 9:00 am today. If it snows all week like they are forcasting you should be all set.

I am heading up Wed. night to Newberry, how is it getting in and out of town? How about Grand Marais, Seney and Paradise? Did you ride down towards Curtis?
JEFFH
Newberry and Grand Marais were the norm, snirt close to town and better conditions away from town. trails had some thin areas but nothing that would make me stay home.

No problem !!!! We were nervous too but we put on about 220 miles that took care of everything hyper.gif Watch trail #45 about 25 miles from town there doing some logging and had the trail partly blocked with a tree for a short period of time.
