hood fit fine the other day. now while riding yesterday, I noticed it isn't fitting right. It seems like the belly pan is abot 1/2" to wide on each side right in the middle. this makes the hood sit wrong and cause a gap between the hood and pan about 1/2". I didn't hit anything hard to cause this, and I checked the bulkhead and all the wleds and rivets under the hood and everything looks good. also the hood hinges are fine. anyone have any ideas?

I had this same problem on my '02. Ended up loosening all fasteners in the stirrup areas, pulling center of pan in on both sides, then retightening fasteners. Still wasn't right, but worked well enough to get rid of the gap, and looked OK. Has been fine for the last 6500 miles/4 seasons. I wrote it off to improper storage by the previous owner (purchased sled used 1 year old). Probably stored it with a jack stand under the front bumper......
