SLDDOG and I did 225 miles starting out on the railbed from Orangeville yesterday. The railbed was thin until just south of Markdale. Conditions west of Markdale to Chesley, down as far as Mt Forest were good.

Iceman I was there last tuesday and parked at the big grocery store(independent maybe)on the east side of town on hwy#89.The trail is just north from that main intersection about a mile.you may want to check that trail just east of shelburne as the hills are right on,pretty flat all the way to markdale on the rail line(go figure)

Yep. There is also a new restaurant right in town called the Mix. It's pretty good eating there, but the service isn't very good. Every time i've went there, there was a different waitress every time... and they were all total B*tches... good food but needless to say the tips were a little on the skimpy side.
