just got off the phone with my dad, he said island pond is a whole different world up there.... said there's a foot and a half of snow. on top of what they had, they got 6" yesterday and another 6" last night, roughly speaking. as i mentioned, he said it's a whole different world up in the NEK right now.

Stowe got about 5" outta last night's little storm, definitely a big help. It was light and fluffy, but it was something. I'm hoping they'll open the trails for tomorrow.

That's what I have been hearing and it's great news!I'm waiting out the weekend with hopes of the weekend crowd disappearing by Monday morning.With limited snow coverage on the trails I'm worried the weekend traffic will pound them to shit and they will be in tough shape for nextweek's riding.At this point it's worth a shot so,I will be up there Monday morning.
Just got back from IP put on 70miles friday and 100miles today was good earlier but by the end of the day trails going into town were getting beaten.
I rode from Island Pond to canan on thursday and the trails were ptretty damn good,m i bet they are GREAT now!!
Rode 130 miles from Maidstone to norton and around rt 1 (which has not been groomed) but all in all some great riding this weekend.
