Hey I'm upgrading my skid (97 AC Powder Extreme ZRT600) to a newer model snopro but it's a 121 and I want to stay with the 136 length, has anybody used rail extensions? How'd it go? notice any problems or lack of ride quality?

On page 5 in the Manitoba forums there's a thread called Gillam ride. The sled is owned by low-1 I added the exstention. He seems to like it.Installed some others in the past the only change needed was stiffer springs, however if yuo are using a snopro skid it should be stiff enough...........I need spell check can't spell you

No problems with mine, but may need a heavier set of springs to soak up the bigger bumps.

yep, love mine, makes it a whole new sled. I don't think I would worry about them bending or snapping, even landing hard on the back end, they are a pretty solid design.

Are the extensions for the rails home made or just the tunnel?

just the tunnel, not sure where U8 picked up the rail extensions, somewhere in Brandon I think.
