I have an 05 IQ and it has a 01 600 ves in it... it has no air box and came with "A" KnN filter with what looks to be homemade rubber boots to fit around carbs...is that ok? or the right thing to do? its really close to the drive shaft...any Ideas? wacko.gif

Find a stock airbox for it. Put some spacers in(3/4" in between engine and straps, 1/4" between straps and mounts). Get some 600 airbox box boots, cut the holes in the airbox alittle larger and install the boots backwards. This would be much better than some hack job and work much better.

No problem, i'm still trying to get mine all together. I'll be happy to answer any questions, as many here have answered a ton of mine. Once I get this IQ finished we should meet up and ride as we aren't far apart. I've been going up to Tug when they get enogh snow.
