Hi guys, my mother in law is looking for a slider for her 2006 Polaris trail deluxe touring. There used to be a dealer in Iqaluit, but I think it's closed down.
Anyone know of any parts dealers in Nunavut, or even where I could find a slider for this thing?
Thanks

Hi Harvester,
I am not sure what you have for parts up there, but, you can always go to www.denniskirk.com or you can try www.hiperf.com and they can ship it. Orders placed before 3p.m. central time ship the same day. Hope this helps.

Yeah, we've got one small grocery store that will sell the odd belt or oil but that's it. I could order one from Royal Distributing or something, but my father in law is passing through Iqaluit in a couple of days, and thought he could pick one up there as a quicker solution to waiting 3 weeks to get one.
Thanks mate

Harvester,
Sorry I coudnt be more help, I was wondering how long it may take to get parts to you. Have you ordered from those guys before? Sometimes they can come up with something to get parts to you more quickly. If you dont get your part, let me know maybe i can come up with something for you. I hate to see a snowmobiler have to park the sled when you could be riding. Our trails are terrible right now because we have no snow otherwise I would be riding.

The way the mail is up here, you could be waiting up to 2 months for something....it sucks.

Harvester,
Is your shipping code x0a-0v0? How close is the resolute bay airport to you? I may be able to help.

LOL, I run the Resolute Bay airport. My mum in law was wrong, what she needs is a set of carbide runners for one of her skis.
Anyone know where I could find a set for a 2005 edge trail deluxe touring?
Thanks

Harvester,
If you order by 11am central time monday, UPS guarantees delivery by the following monday to the resolute bay airport. You can get faster shipping but it is a bit more $$$. if you dont have any luck finding your parts www.denniskirk.com will have it and can get it to you. The best bet is to find your part number online and then give them a call.
Good luck

Thanks mate, I'm not quite so urgent now that I found out it's only carbides. I'm sure I can find a set of Kimpex or something in Iqaluit when I call around.
Cheers

For sure we have a Polaris stealership in town. The phone number is 979-7454. We also have Bombardier and Arctic Cat. Let me know if you need more info.

No problem man I dont mind helping out a fellow rider. It was Yamaha that closed. They might not have the part so its probably best to call them ASAP so they can order it if the do not have it in stock.
