OK, I know enough not to believe in weather models this far out, especially with such a tricky system. But if the GFS model verifies it puts 12-18" of snow in my (Bridgton) area. I can't help but get a little bit excited.

I'm getting excited when I see 7 days below freezing in the forecast. If more than a foot of snow falls I might pass out.

Yep.. Big storm coming..! I'm convinced.! Mr. Manix told me so.. "Plowable" he said..! good enough for me..! I've been out with the 2"-3" we HAVE had.. ANY more then that, and I'm going to have to register the ole girl.! Speaking of which... not that too many of you care, but I heard there were only 2600 sleds registered in the State of Maine this year.. out of 60-70 thousand.!! SOOO whats the fine for not being registered..? Might have to play the odds..! for the 1-2 trips I MAY actually take.!

Hey Doomehard, If you do head up to Bosebuck Monday, I'll be there with a couple other HCS, look for a red Dodge with gray SnoPro covered trailer. We'll all be riding Doos, the most recognizable will be a Flamed 99 MXZ.

Sorry for the delay, here is a link where I saw the map. This model run is probably already obsolete.
http://www.easternuswx.com/bb/index.php?showtopic=120297or click hereNote: this map is apparently dynamic, yesterday it showed a 12-18" swath, today it looks a bit differrent. (less)

I have heard two forcast amounts, 6 to 12" from channel 13 and 5 to 10" from channel 8...both said that is for southern maine, less up north. lets hope for more than what they call for!! :fluffy:

I was at Bosebuck yesterday. We found some good riding although the conditions got a little rough by the end of the day. There were A LOT of sleds there yesterday. People are finding it's the only place to ride outside of the county. By Monday you should be good to go with the forecast. Even if they only get get 2-3 inches it should improve on what the conditions were like when I left there yesterday.
