We went up 59 to 317 to Gull lake and it was some of the roughest trails I have seen. We almost turned around at Gull lake but decided to push on. The Bell Air trails were great, so whats up with the rest?? I really hope the clubs can groom soon. We had lunch at the Casino then found our way back down 59 through the drifts and blowing snow. Ride safe its cold out.

We did the ride leaving from Mars Sandhill Golf Course, up Jimmy "Flatbottom" and then on to Grand Marais. The park trails were groomed coming back, and the Northstar had been done two days ago, but the rest was back breaking...

Hey Dobiezeke................back breaking is what happens to middle aged spines. A shit day on the trails is better than a good day at work.

Right on getting out to ride guys!I was out that way on Monday leaving from North perimeter up to Gull Lake.Trail was good after say the powerline by Casino. Not familiar with that area as I've only been to J.Longbottom b4.Where is this Northstar trail as I've heard that trail name b4?

Go down long bottom to power line, turn right, follow trail to Hwy 12 (Stead) turn left go 1 mile turn right, follow trail to next highway, turn right go about 3-4 miles to Belair sign. That is the start of the trail, and with your snopass map you should be good to go. We most of the time ride Thursdays from the 59er and if its cold thats the ride we do. If its nice and trails are groomed we still leave from 59er, and do the Trip to the Whiteshell and back. That ride is Oakbank, Anola, Elma, Rene, Seven sisters, Tyndal, and back to 59er.

The only reason your back isn't hurting is due to the tremendous amount of prescription medication taken before each ride, and the fact that you were given natural freezing from the weather conditions to dull the pain...oh, and that your one-man grooming machine that you ride is so heavy it just plows through the bumps! The Trailblazers owe you a Breakfast on a Bun for mid week grooming!
