Well Boys and Girls, it IS going to happen. Winter is going to set its firm grip upon the east starting next week. And winter is NOT going to make an easy exit. So get ready, and stop boo-hooing about this slow start. The people that cater (business') to the snowmobilers, skiers and winter sports fanantics have been in a rough spot, (particulary after LAST winter)
so get out there have some fun..... and SPEND some money. :fluffy:  :fluffy:

............................................You must have ignored the part where they said "winter will make a brief appearance and return to above average temps. At this point it's JAN.9th,the ground has thawed ,the snow has melted. So to start the whole process over again, you are looking at early-mid FEB before any serious trail riding. Here in CT, the Ct river is flooding again and it's not because the rain but, the snow from upnorth which melted in 65 temps......KEEP IT REAL!

Your right, but that is for this week. After the weekend we will see some of the coldest temps in over a year.

Nice, me too (volunteer).
Our training officer told me that he's already hearing amounts from the rumor mill...12-24". I highly doubt that, but it would be a dream come true.
