Saint-Côme, Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez, N-D Merci and Saint-Donat trails are closed.

The above is from today...I had friends in Tremblant all weekend....pissed like a m F'er....they went bowling and sat in the H tub for 3 days. The area got 3-4 inches on mon but don't think it'd be worth your while unless you want to tear up your gear.

Yep Trails that are open are very limited ! The most the erea got in snow this week might be 5 inches of snow ! Lets hope we get a good dump soon ! On the bright side it looks like its going to stay cold until the end of the month. Good for lakes and rivers and streams.
snow...where?
Why would they list their Trail conditions as Good?? Last week they were Limited.
Are they trying to scam people to come up and sit in motels???

They are dying up north and need people $$$$$. The truth is Riding is still very limited , Most riding in the park . Earlier in the week the region was starting over again, I mean no snow at all to one inch on the ground. Also the warm spell had the lakes in and around st-donat melting away. Their was like 4 inches of water sitting a top the ice on the lakes . All has froze up but i would wait for a few more cold nights before getting back on the lakes, Also we had a small dump of snow earlier in the week so thats reopening some trails again.
By the looks of it we should be in for some good riding at the end of the month. Theirs a nice cold spell on the way with snow in the forcast for the next few weeks .

Quebec#1 - thanks a lot for the honest opinion, it'll save me a lot of grief. I'll go ATVing this weekend and work on the sleds in the garage and maybe mid next week it'll be good. Wife and kids are gone Jan26-Feb3 so hopefully there'll be some good trail conditions by then. Hope to get out for rides with a bunch of you HCSers.

I have faith that most trails will be 100% by then and also theirs a nice weather system that might dump some good snow on us on Monday ! :fluffy:

Have a look at Zewaiter's site at www.zenwaiter.com. He's got good connections and his contacts are reporting things accurately. There are some Pic's of Val D'or posted from Jan 8 & 9th from Hurricana outfitters (Big ass Hotel lodge near Val D'or). As you will see in the pics they are riding but the snow is limited and the trails are not groomed. The sleds are also rentals....

I have contacts all the way up there and to the best of my knowledge nothing is worth making the trip at this time. I'm paying close attention as I have 12 guys heading that way from Ottawa on the 20th.
