Hey Fellas,

I hope everyone is doing well. Just a quick note to let everyone know that Bryant Watson from VAST will be on WDEV (out of Waterbury) FM 96.1, AM 550 tomorrow morning to talk about this season and how it is affecting Vermont. I can't believe Bob and Peg at Kingdom Cat are out of business...............

I am doing well. I'm back into skiing and telemark this year and currently in training for a ski trip out to Utah (Alta) the end of this month..........12 days on skis so far this season at Bretton Woods, NH. Conditions have been good (for the northeast) including two freak powder days a month ago................ up until yesterday...........yesterday SUCKED!...........but I was only there for a few pregame runs............crazy winter..............

Take care guys and do your best snow dance................

Cool picture. Looks like you picked the classic day to climb Mt Washington. If this crappy weather keeps up there won't even be good skiing on the Headwall come April and May.

Thanks for the heads up about tomorrow's upcoming interview with Bryant. I normally listen to WDEV in the morning, it's a great station.
WCAX ran a news story last night and again this morning and Bryant was interviewed.

yo momma,

I've often wondered if you were clairvoyant and knew last season and this season were going to suck so you bailed out of the sport gracefully!?!

Good to hear from you!

Well yo momma, Welcome back.... its about time you came back to the HCS peanut gallery. I've missed you and your commentary. :cn: popc1.gif Remember those guys....hahahaha

As for Bryant I didn't listen to him today but saw him on the 11:00 news last night. The weather is not only hurting the snowmobile buisness and trickle down affect but the loggers are killing themselves trying to work in the woods. Freaken mud is working there machines way too hard. You spend more time working on the equipment than you do logging. The ski mountains and surrounding areas are hurting just as bad. This is really horrible for everyone.....

I was thinking today, what could I do and make money off the land without farming or logging???? WIND FARMING???? It seems like thats the only way anyone in Vt is going to make any money.

Anyway welcome back again and hate to ask but where've you been? I figured the CIA or something?
yo momma
Hey Mike, Hey dgree! How are you guys!?

CIA.............haha.............nothing that fancy or exciting!.............I'm just a lowly dentist...........

You're right......... the economy up here in the NEK is hurting.............we have more and more people signing up for our Federally subsidized sliding fee scale dental program that offers fees for healthcare based on income.

I've been busy working overtime and extra days to handle the load, and recruiting a second dentist who is a friend from the NYC area who I convinced to move up here and help out with our non-profit organization.

Years ago, he would come up and go skiing and snowmobiling with me (including a few trips to Quebec) and he eventually sold his practice in NJ and is now living the "Good Life" up here in the sticks and helping me out.........he loves it up here!.............we commute in to work together on our mountain bikes just like we did in NJ back in the early 90's...........only the hills are bigger.............alot bigger!
