Just got off the phone with Bernard, and there is riding in St Raymond (he say's it's about a hour and a half north of his place). If anyone is interested in going this weekend, post in this thread and we will see if we can get a group together. I've got a 4 place (not enclosed trailer), and room for 2 more people and sleds. We would be leaving from Ticonderoga, NY 12883, but it would not be a problem to pick up other people anywhere along the Adirondack Northway (anywhere north of exit 28). If anyone is interested, please give me a call at 518 586 6766!! To give you guys a idea of how far it it, I think it's roughly 4 hours from the border (in Champlain NY). It sounds like it's the least distance we can go for good riding:(

St. Raymond is an awesome place to sled, but check the weather up their b4 ya go. Go to www.theweathernetwork.com. Then plug in St.Raymond, Qc.
If these guys are even 1/2 right I wouldnt bother.

I'm glad we came up when we did. We are in Lac Beauport and the riding is good if you trailer to the Red roof and ride towards L-Etape. Passed the groomer yesterday. Today we are going to trailer to E-etape and ride towards Lac St. Jean. We were going to change hotels and go up to Sauganey Fri, but may head home if its going to rain. Even with only 2 days of riding, it was worth the 14 hour ride.

L'etape to St. Raymond was a 9-10 today. Plenty of snow, but we'll have to see how much rain they get. Accross 175 from L' etape to Red Roof is hammered and down to snirt in some areas.

Bernard, we are scheduled for Ste. Agathe on the 18th... What do you suggest. I was going to try to stop by your place and check it out, but it looks like that is out especially on the sleds. It looks like we will have to trailer up to the Monts Valin area. Do you have any suggestions for places to stay and what to do???
