I just put a zip tie governor kit on and the headlight bulbs are blowing out,{2 sets}. Anyone else have this problem? I've tightened the ground, maybe that will help.I tried to check voltage at the bulb leads but couldn't get a good reading on voltage.

Not sure how true this is, but I asked about adding heated grips to my 05. Dealer told me 06 and newer have an element for the heated grips because of this very problem. They claim the system puts out too much juice. Mine has very little time on it so I have not had any issues. Maybe you could try a brighter bulb. Also, ask your local ski doo dealer and see what he says. I'd like to know.

The headlights blowing out is a typical problem. I just replaced my daughter's yesterday. The stock bulb is a GE 892. Use GE 890's instead - they seem to hold up. My son's have been in there for nearly a year without any problems. They are bulbs for fog lights. Any auto parts store should have them for about $8 each.

Thank You snowmobilling! That's just what I was hoping to hear. I'll get some 890's and try them.
