I live in the Twin Cities area and have been hunting antelope in WY for about 6 years now. They have all been do-it-yourself hunts along with 3 friends (you can put in an application for non-residents with a maximum of 4 applicants) and I have shared the 100% success with the group every year. I have done all the homework myself for a couple areas in the eastern and southern part of the state. This year I put 2 of my friends on B & C antelope and the third was just under getting in the book (mine will probably go less than book as well because I let my friends shoot the first three we stalked).

The hunts have all been with rifle and we have never had to pay (except for the first year while I learned the ropes) to hunt the land. Some of the hunts have been on BLM or state land and some have been on private land. I have never had to wait several years for points to accrue as well (but that may change with new WY laws and what size of antelope horns you want).

I am not a guide and I have not recieved money for doing what I love.

My deal is this...I will share my antelope hunting knowledge with a person if they can share similar knowledge of a public land hunt (or private no-charge) for large racked mule deer or whitetail within 800 miles of the Twin Cities. I am not willing to pay any guide fee or pay to hunt the land (other than non-resident tags).

If this sounds like we can work something out, send me a PM with a little info and I'll do my best to get back to you in a timely fashion.

Just got the official scores on the 2 big antelope and both did make B&C.

Anyone know a great place to take large bucks with a bow in the Minneapolis area?
