My friend has an 05 Iq 600 ves non h.o. It does not have spacers to lift it up on the mt. straps. So the engine sits very low in the chassis. He had uni filters on it but He dose not like the uni filters. So he bought some k&N filters bent at 35* but they do not fit they hit the drve shaft. So I tryed some kickazz filters off my 800 and the fit but arte pressing down on the drive shaft hard. Could I turn his carb boots around going from the engine to the carb it looks like it has a bend to it, bending down towards the driveshaft. So if I turn it around it would point up. and the filters might avoid contact with the driveshaft. Thanks

if that doesnt work enough check out the doo 440 carb boots...they have quite an angle to them, might work for ya if you turn them around.
