I don't know where you are getting your information from, but the long range forecast is call in for a high of 33 degrees F for Pittsburg and up at the warming hut you can take at least 5 to 10 degrees off of that. :div20:

Thats a manchester NH forecast? About as useless as a bull with tits when comparing to Pittsburg. Hell look at the change just from Colebrook to pittsburg...do not know how many times I have been up there & seen rain in colebrook & snowin like heavin in pittsburg.
Maybe try to be postive instead of negative, Forecasts for that region have a hard time getting it right 2 days out.
Snow is coming, think positive....

Thanks for the optimism Mark. Some friends and I are supposed to be in Errol next weekend, friend has a camp on Greeno Pond Road. Hopefully the trails will be open by next weekend........Think snow!!!!!!!!!

what happened with the guy hunting behind your house next to your stand?

he moved it about 100 yards out -- basically ruined my season here, kept all the deer spooked out of this section of woods... coughing - sneezing - walking like an ox through the woods.... didnt see a deer behind me since he put his stand out there... they know when something aint right!

its all over now ...... hopefully he doesnt come back next season ...... but i will watch the area and if he does i will be somewhere else, i found a sweet spot by a long beaver dam that the deer cross regularly and toyed with a decent buck out there but couldnt get him out to get a shot.....

You can't bank on what they say is going to happen a week in advance. They can't even be accurate about what is going to happen in the short-term. They say we are going to get 6" to 8" of snow and end up getting 2" to 4". All they are doing is toying with our emotions.

All we can do is hope and pray.
