As of 8:30 a.m., it's still raining on the North Shore. Checked the temp in Isabella, it's @32 degrees, so hopefully we're getting snow inland. IT IS TIME!

Pouring rain in Duluth, has been since about 7:00 last night. They say 3-5 inches today but I highly doubt it.

Nothing but heavy rains in Brainerd, pretty much rained all dayyesterday and all night, now when it's cold enough it's just a light..........well put it this way it would take 5 days of whats coming down to get an inch or two.
Where is all this &^%&*$*^%$%^$&^%$&^$&^$&^$&^$^&%$&^%$&^$#$^#@%$@#%$@^$&*^%(&^)_)*(+_)(*&)^(&^%*^$#@%$@#$ snow, Denver can kiss my ass right about now.

how much snow does Brainerd have?

not much now :banghead: but yesterday before the rain we had just enough 2-4 inches...the bunyan was just rideable...the snow cover on the lakes is great though and I think the lakes will still be ok even now after all the rain :beerchug:

like I said, the lakes are really, really smooth..so if you like to haul ass now is the time to do it... you can easily rack up a 100 miles just playing around on gull...On North Long you can rack up 50+ miles and not get too bored...

I just like getting out and doing some riding... at this point all we have is lake riding but it is fun, fast riding... the ice is a little thin but there a lot of fish houses out and people are driving on the ice now...about 12 inches of ice now.... open water in the usual places :beerchug:

tower's got about 5 or 6 inches and still snowing, trails and lakes suck. rained last night killed it all but if this snow keeps up well be riding again in know time. providing the temps stay down.

I was out on ATV yesterday and seen sleds on the trails all I could see most of the time were showers of sparks from sledders going by. Your nuts, way to anxious. Brainerd had at most 2 inches yesterday, maybe 4 on the lakes. Keep an eye on those hyfaxes and check the skiis make sure your not eating holes yet.
