hey i was wondering what i should do for gearing on my 03 pro 8, i have a slp exhaust system, heavy hitters, yellow erlandson spring with red blue secondary spring with gutted air box temp flow and 440 mains, and stainless power valves. the gearing is still stock, and should i get a 70.46.46 helex. thanks

A 70/46-.46 will make use of the power much better, but you may get belt slip with the red/dk blue spring with it. If so go to the black/red spring. For max top end, you could keep stock gearing, but 25/41, 24/41, 25/42 will give better accelration.

pockets with this max top speed how much do you think it will change if i gear to 1.68 25/42or 1.703 24/41 . and will i have to change the stock chain.
shortstop20
Both of those gearing combos will work fine with the stock 76P chain. The first one will be tighter and won't have as much of a dogleg as the 24/41.
xc-mark
you should not loose any top speed even with 24/41 . book says 100.xx at 8000 rpm at one to one. most polaris primarys will overdrive enough to see 110mph on gps
